Founded in 2002 under the name Scandinavian Design Center, the company has its headquarters and warehouses in Kalmar, a port city in southern Sweden, from where it distributes its products to around 40 countries through its various online platforms. Nordic Nest offers a wide range of home furnishings (furniture, accessories, lighting, textiles, and tableware) carefully selected from hundreds of Scandinavian and international brands, aiming to inspire and facilitate the creation of functional, aesthetic, and timeless interiors.

Solution implemented

To support its growth and improve the reliability of its logistics operations, NORDIC NEST has worked with intralogistics integrator ITO PallPack to deploy a packaging optimization solution based on four JIVARO and two E-JIVARO machines from SAVOYE. Installed in the warehouse in Sweden, this equipment automatically adjusts the height of packages to fit the products as closely as possible before closing them, eliminating unnecessary empty space in the boxes. This configuration, particularly in the JIVARO 4-store version, allows for the processing of a wide variety of items while automating and securing the order preparation process.
