Challenge

With sustained growth in its network and order volumes, Weldom needed to modernize its national logistics hub to quickly increase its processing capacity without disrupting ongoing operations. Enhancing ergonomics of workstations and supporting omnichannel development (stores + e-commerce), while ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient flows, were also key requirements.

Solution Implemented

To meet these challenges, Weldom deployed a comprehensive automation solution with SAVOYE, covering everything from goods reception to dispatch, without interrupting service. This transformation includes the integration of additional shuttles, Goods-to-Person stations, buffers and sequencers, an automated storage system, and a robotized palletizing line. Designed for easy operation and scalability, the solution enhances performance, safety, and sustainability across operations.
